You Taught Me How to Bloom!

Last week was my birthday so as a gift my husband paid for me to attend four Copics card and technique classes held this weekend at PhotoScraps in Eldersburg, Maryland. The classes were taught by the incomparable Rhea Weigand whose passion for working with Copics comes through in her classes.  I had lots of A-Ha! moments especially for coloring flowers and folds and pleats in clothing. Using some of the techniques from this weekend’s classes, I put together a thank you card for Rhea, who has truly taught me how to bloom!

Thank you Rhea for sharing your talent with us! And a special thank you to Tracy Beck of PhotoScraps for hosting the classes and supporting the amazing group of local crafters that I had the privilege to meet this weekend.

  1. Wow, what a gorgeous card! And what a wonderful birthday gift your DH gave you (he’s a keeper!!). I love your card and the exquisite coloring, and what a wonderful opportunity to have taken the classes with the amazing Rhea! You sure have demonstrated beautiful coloring skills in this lovely card! Rhea will surely love it and be touched by its sentiment! Hugs…and happy birthday!
