It’s a Stampendous! Celebration over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends this weekend. So here’s my entry for the coloring contest, featuring the House Mouse stamp Knit Gift and a sentiment from Life Words, both by Stampendous!
I’ve colored this image before and love the way that the shading creates the ombre effect in the yarn. I decided this time to color it in shades of blue (B91, B93, B95, B97) and use shades of blue green (BG10, BG11) to make the highlights pop. For the background, I used shades of warm gray (W00, W0, W01), softly blended with the colorless blender and then texturized by dabbing with a piece of terry cloth dampened with colorless blender.
