Thank You for Your Service

Several months ago, I created a military homecoming card using Mo Manning’s Soldier Boy and Lazy Mutt digital images. My friend Jess recently asked if I could remake the card, adding a second child to the montage. I knew that the only way this would really work was to add another child in some sort of military garb. Luckily, Mo also has a set of sailor boys and this one from the set fit in perfectly. I used a different image from the Lazy Dog set so that everyone would fit together better. I have to admit that I love the final result.

  1. Oh, Nancy, this is absolutely precious and so beautifully done! It’s so touching with these precious little ones and the dog, and what coloring right down to the perfect camouflage. I love both inside and outside, and what a special card this is going to be for someone to welcome home their loved one! Yes, it’s wonderful and will be cherished for years to come! So glad you shared it with us! Hugs!

    1. Thanks Cheryl! It was a lot of fun to put together. The camouflage was initially a challenge, but once I realized that I could get the effect by dabbing the colors, it suddenly all fell into place.
