Beautiful Lady

My current obsession is with Altenew stamps so of course I’ve already acquired several of them to play around with. Since my style tends to be clean and simple, a card featuring a single sprigg of Lantana from the Beautiful Lady stamp set seemed like a good place to start.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper with VersaMark and heat embossed it using Stampendous! Embossing Powder in Detail White. The image was watercolored using distress inks and a water brush. After the image was dry, I applied Ranger’s Micro Glaze to seal the distress inks. The sentiment — from Penny Black’s Sprinkles and Smiles stamp set — was stamped on vellum with Stazon ink. Add a few enamel dots from Echo Park’s Jack and Jill Collection and we have a winner!
