Well Hello Dahlia!

Rowhouse Greetings | Well Hello DahliaWell it’s the fifth of the month and it’s time to say Hello Dahlia! The latest release from Power Poppy is a newly remixed and completely rejuvenated digital stamp set featuring three images and two sentiments. And what a sentiment! I was humming a little Louis Armstrong the whole time I was coloring!

Well, you know me! I’m not satisfied unless I’m flipping, cropping or rotating a digital image to see it in a new way. Luckily Marcella doesn’t mind when we take her art and reinterpret it in our own way (or swap out the sentiments!).

Dahlias come in so many colors that it almost doesn’t matter what combination you pick. I took a look on Google images to get some inspiration and came across this image. I loved how the yellow center blended into the outer pink petals. I can’t copy Mother Nature so I decided to match the colors and have a little fun.

So settle in and take a look at the latest creations on the Power Poppy blog from the Instant Gardeners and Bloom Brigade. It’s so nice to have you back where you belong!

  1. Oh, Nancy, I was singing along as well, as I remembered Louis Armstrong singing this song! Loved it too! What a beautiful card with the cropped part of the flowers hanging down in your focal die. I love it and love the soft colors! Beautifully done! And what great dies and DP you’ve used, and I will have to check out where you get your enamel dots. I can never quite get enough colors to work for me. Another great card, my friend! Hugs!
