Another holiday card using one of the newer seasonal images from Mo’s Digital Pencil. I nearly scrapped this one while I was coloring it. I started coloring the clothing with BG10, BG11, and BG13, but couldn’t get it to blend well. I was getting discouraged and it was getting late, so I left it on my desk and went to bed, figuring I’d start over in the morning.

In the morning, it still looked as bad as I remembered it. I loved how the face and hair turned out (which is saying a lot because that’s usually my downfall) so I really didn’t want to scrap the effort. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I started reworking the clothing with B02 and suddenly the colors blended like magic! So I added BV20 and BV23 to get some depth in the folds and voila! We have Frost!
