Va-Va Valentines by Power Poppy

Va Va Valentine by Power PoppyTime for another new digital release from Power Poppy and this one is so much fun. A veritable buffet of love notes suitable for Valentines, anniversary cards, thinking of you notes, or any time you want to let someone special know that you are thinking of them. ! This pack of goodness features six complete drawings: “Pretty Great”, “Rocking Blooms”, “Biggest Fan”, “Springy Step”, “Matching Socks”, “Found You” and “Heart Melt”. Each image will fit comfortably on a card front, and they are so much fun to color! Four simple sentiments for the inside. For a limited time, you can get all six images for $6 so head on over and get yours today!

When I saw all the new images, I couldn’t decide which one to do first, but finally settled on the Biggest Fan. I did my usually Copic coloring, but wanted to push it a little further. At Christmas, my husband gave me a full set of Prismacolor pencils so I’ve been experimenting with adding depth and detail to my Copic coloring with colored pencils. Here I added some shading to the blades of the fan and hearts. I’m looking forward to experimenting further with the technique to see how far I can go.

Take a look at what the rest of the team put together for you and be sure to stop by the Power Poppy blog.

  1. Nancy, this is gorgeous, and what a perfect piece of designer paper! I love your coloring, and how exciting that you too got a full set of Prismacolor pencils for Christmas. I got that last year and LOVE them. It really helps with the smaller sections and to add just that little extra we cannot quite get with a marker. Hugs!
