Trumpet Vine Visitor by Power Poppy

Trumpet Vine Visitor by Power PoppyGood morning everyone! Today I have a card featuring Trumpet Vine Visitor, the latest digital release from Power Poppy! Happy trails are guaranteed with Power Poppy’s trailing trumpet vine and hummingbird. Whether you start with the composite image of the bird and blooms, or create your own scene digitally with the individual components, this set promises to bring joy! Includes one sentiment and 4 images, all in black and no-line versions.

I decided to feature the hummingbird image and the sentiment. I reversed one of the hummingbirds so the pair together would look like they were dancing in air. After coloring the images, I stenciled the background using Distress Oxides.

That’s all for today! Soak in some inspiration from the Power Poppy blog and be sure you take a look at what the rest of the Instant Gardener team has for you.

  1. Nancy, what a sweet card with this beautiful pair of hummers! They are colored to perfection with such richness! I love how they are facing each other and “chatting” (or shall I saw fluttering about), and what a stunning sky! Yes, this stencil is my favorite too. You’ve used it well! I love your card! Hugs! xoxo
