Apparently Mermaids are my current obsession. I’m teaching a class next month at The Queen’s Ink that features the Laurel Burch Mermaid stamp set by Stampendous. But I’ve had my eye on this set of mermaids by Penny Black for awhile now and decided that it was time to pull them out and start coloring.
A simple and serene card featuring the Happy Together stamp set by Penny Black.
Cosmic Newton is out of this world! Another fun card featuring an image by Newton’s Nook and lots of mixed media (Distress Inks, heat embossing, Dylusions stencil & Nuvo Embellishment Mousse) in the background.
Just finished up two cards for the next Art du Jour @queensink on Tuesday, May 8th. Kate, Kim and I will have a variety of make and take cards, tags, and ATCs to help you build up your stash at this open house style event. We’ll be on hand from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM so stop by on your lunch hour, on your way home from work, or stay all day! Work at your own pace and relax! Projects are $3.00 each and new projects are available each month.
New Copic class @queensink on May 1st. We’ll be playing with using Distress Inks and stencils to create beautiful backgrounds for your cards.

Heart Abloom in its full glory. Latest digital release from Power Poppy. Lately, I’ve been designing cards for Copic classes where I try to use a limited number of markers so that my students don’t have to buy a lot of markers in order to take a class. However, this time I got to color just for me and could pull out lots of markers and experiment with color and blends. I break down all the Copic colors I used (all 31 of them!) on my blog.
Here it is! The new digital release from Power Poppy called Blossoming Cherry! Herald in the spring with this beauty available as a set of four digital stamps (image plus three sentiments).
