Acorn Ornaments

Acorn Ornaments by Power Poppy

It’s time for another new digital release from Power Poppy. This time Marcella was inspired by her collection of glass acorn ornaments, so after a little rooting around in the harvest decorations she came up with this set of images and accompanying sentiments for your coloring pleasure!

My card is pretty simple this time. I’m getting ready for vacation so I have to temporarily put my Copics aside to get ready. So I put this card together quickly to show off a simple image on a simple card.

Bittersweet Wreath

Rowhouse Greetings | Autumn | Bittersweet Wreath by Power PoppyHow quickly it has turned to fall here! Although the sun is shining, the weather has turned blustery and cool.

Looks like autumn has arrived at Power Poppy as well. Marcella has given a bit of a shearing and a plumpen-upping to her remixed Bittersweet Wreath. The digital images download in a flash and colors up easily to make a beautiful Thanksgiving, fall, or holiday card front. Two sentiments accompany this sweet and simple set.

This image is so quick and easy to color up that I just picked a variety of reds, oranges and yellows from my Copic collection. It’s hard to tell from the photograph, but I used a lot of different shades in order to get some variation in color across the wreath. Use my selection for inspiration or simply pick colors which you already have. It’s hard to go wrong with this image.

Thankful to Have You in My Life

I’ve been a fan of Stamping Bella for awhile and even bought a few stamps earlier in the year, but I’m just getting around to actually coloring any of them. This Tiny Townie is a particular favorite so with pumpkin season upon us, it was time to get coloring!

These Lawn Fawn plaid papers make mixing and matching patterns so much easier. One paper for the front and a coordinating paper for the inside.

Pumpkin Spice Time is Here!

A few weeks ago, we took my parents to the Perry Hall Apple Festival to enjoy some food, music and crafts in the fall weather. Although advertised as an apple festival, it was the pumpkins that stole the show — we’d never seen so many varieties of pumpkins and colorful gourds.

So I was inspired to start the month with a little pumpkin goodness with another Power Poppy image (look here for my first image) from the Feeling Fall clear stamp set. This sweet vignette includes a trio of gourds, fall berries, and what has GOT to be a pumpkin spice latte.

So sit back, inhale the autumn goodness, and enjoy!
