May and June are prime birthday months amongst my May and June are prime birthday months amongst my family and friends so I'm always scrambling for birthday cards this time of year. I was on a roll yesterday in the studio so I have I was on a roll yesterday in the studio so I have three cards to share with you featuring the Flower Shaker Shapes stamp set by @concordand9th. The cards came together quickly because no coloring was involved - the images are easy to line up and stamped using dye ink. In less than an hour, I had a trio of cards ready to go. I recently splurged on several sets of Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pad by @simonsaysstamp. The inks initially stamp a little splotchy, but as they dry, the ink seems to level out and blend, resulting in a beautiful smooth finish which is really important when using solid stamps like the ones featured today. So I have some news that I can finally tell you. I So I have some news that I can finally tell you. I was recently asked to join the design team for @janesdoodles. This is a new-to-me stamp company, but one that I had been following for awhile because the adorable animal images fit my style. However, before I had a chance to purchase any stamp sets, Jane's Doodles shut down. Covid has been hard on many small stamp companies and local craft stores -- both of the stores where I teach closed in the past four months.
