Father’s Day is coming up soon so I thought I had better get a card ready for my Dad. I’m the youngest and the only girl so I’ve always had a special relationship with my father. And now that my parents are elderly, I’m spending more time taking care of them — cooking meals, getting them to doctor’s appointments, taking them out on special trips. So while I do have brothers — and this card is tongue in cheek — there is a special bond with my dad that we both know without saying.

Cathy — the sentiment is not a separate stamp. Since the cover image was a digital stamp, I added the sentiment when I was doing the layout and printed it at the same time as the image.
