Partridge in a Pear Tree

I’m over at the LDRS Creative blog today with a new holiday card created entirely from die cuts and an embossing folding. That’s right – not a single copic marker!

I’m showcasing the beautiful LDRS Creative Partridge in a Pear (*) die which I used to cut a piece of gold foiled cardstock. I mounted the die cut with foam squares to give the card some dimension. And speaking of dimension – how about the beautiful embossing on the background achieved with the Creative Basics Picnic Quilt Embossing Folders (*) (this is one in the set of two).

For the sentiment, I used the smallest of die from the Basic Stitched Flags (*) dies by Creative Basics to cut two small flags from the gold foiled card stock. The central medallion is cut from white card stock using the oval die from the Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set (*) by Creative Basics. The sentiment is from the Little Darlings CandiBean Merry Christmas Rubber Stamp Kit (*) available exclusively from HSN.

North Pole

I recently joined the design team at LDRS Creative and yesterday I posted my first Design Team card as part of the new stamp and die release for Fall 2016. Today I’m showing off my card using the North Pole stamp and coordinating die set. When I saw this cute penguin stamp, I knew that I had to feature it in my card. This is probably the first card I’ve ever made that only required one Copic marker, but I wanted to make something simple to show that you don’t need 358 markers or crazy coloring skills to make something cute.

North Woods

I recently joined the LDRS Creative Design Team so I am displaying my first design team card as part of series of stamps and dies being released today and tomorrow. Here I highlighting the new North Woods stamp set which includes both clear stamps and coordinating dies. I enjoyed working with this new stamp set. The stamps print cleanly and the dies are easy to use. The set also includes a raccoon and squirrel (not shown here) so that you can create easily scenes.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to return tomorrow to see my other card from the new releases.
