Bittersweet Wreath

Rowhouse Greetings | Autumn | Bittersweet Wreath by Power PoppyHow quickly it has turned to fall here! Although the sun is shining, the weather has turned blustery and cool.

Looks like autumn has arrived at Power Poppy as well. Marcella has given a bit of a shearing and a plumpen-upping to her remixed Bittersweet Wreath. The digital images download in a flash and colors up easily to make a beautiful Thanksgiving, fall, or holiday card front. Two sentiments accompany this sweet and simple set.

This image is so quick and easy to color up that I just picked a variety of reds, oranges and yellows from my Copic collection. It’s hard to tell from the photograph, but I used a lot of different shades in order to get some variation in color across the wreath. Use my selection for inspiration or simply pick colors which you already have. It’s hard to go wrong with this image.

  1. Oh, Nancy, I love your wreath and can definitely see the various colors you’ve used! They really add depth and interest. And I sure do love the plaid on the sides with the black matting, and it just adds to the fall feel of your card. Wow, it’s hard for us to imagine cooler temps than 70 degrees right now, so you keep warm, my friend! Beautifully done, as always! Hugs! xoxo
