I was recently asked to create a few cards for Veterans Day so I immediately thought of the Soldier Girl / Soldier Boy images by Mo’s Digital Pencil. Camouflage is actually pretty easy to create – just select the colors you want to use and smush the colors on the paper.

Yes – smush is a technical term in the coloring world.  🙂

I laid down the colors from light to dark and then added a little more of the light shades to blend in the darker tones a little better. This is one technique that you cannot overthink. Just put the color on the paper!
