Power Poppy Blog Hop with Ellen Hutson

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS! Today is the day you’ve been waiting for! Power Poppy’s Enchanted Garden clear stamp collection is now available from Power Poppy’s online store AND Ellen Hutson. To celebrate, Power Poppy’s Bloom Brigade, Instant Gardeners, and Ellen Hutson’s design team are having a HUGE blog hop to cap off our five days of previews.

And that’s not all! There are fun prizes as well – $25 to the Ellen Hutson shop and $25 to the Power Poppy shop! To enter for a chance to win, leave comments at each stop along the hop. Two random & lucky commenters will win! Comment before Sunday, July 7th at 11:59pm PST. Winners will be notified by email.

As promised, I put together one more card featuring the Summer Berries stamp set. I just happened to have a strawberry print paper from Authentique in my stash so it was time to pull it out and put it to good use. I don’t buy much patterned cardstock anymore, but sometimes I’ll buy one knowing that sooner or later Marcella will create a stamp that will fit it perfectly.

OK – enough blathering from me! Time to blog hop!  Be sure you leave comments at each stop along the hop for a chance to win one of the prizes!

  4. Such a pretty card! Love the papers you used and the layering! Sweet image, beautifully colored!

  5. How great to have the strawberries on your cardstock! I suppose you could create something similar with white embossing powder or ink, but this is too perfect not to use!

  6. You’re right, the strawberry paper was perfect, but I also love the green patterned paper under it! It looks like a summer tablecloth – I would love to have that paper in every color – lol!

  7. Nancy, this is such a lovely card. Great idea to pull out that strawberry paper for this one. tfs

  8. I’m looking at that bird, looking at the Strawberries and I can hear him thinking that he can’t wait to peck each one of the strawberries to see which is the best one…that’s how delicious they look!

  9. Love how you created the stamped background on this card, awesome idea!!
And your little blue bird is patiently taking its time to decide which luscious strawberry to pick.
    Beautifully colored card.

  12. I have recently “discovered” Power Poppy…I’m truly in love with all beautiful talent that is shared. I wish I could illustrate as Marcella but the next best thing – I can color!

  13. Gorgeous card Nancy, I love how you made the background, great layout. Awesome how you coloured your image, I love it! Thank you so much for sharing this inspiration.

  14. Marcella has done it again! Beautiful designs with beautiful designers. I love ALL of her new stamp sets and what you’ve done with the Berries, Nancy. The bird seems right at home and ready for a new snack. Can’t say enough about every designers cards also. Can hardly wait to receive each set and enjoy creating.
