Succulent Wreath

powerpoppyholidayblackfriday2016_440pxToday kicks off the Big Ol’ Salesgiving and Release Weekend at Power Poppy. And what a sale it is! Marcella is kicking off the sale with the release of FOUR fabulous new digital stamp sets that include sentiments so you can use them for cards or gift tags.

Wreaths will be available for $5 per set — OR — you can get all four Wreath sets in a Multipack for $12.99 (savings of $7.00). Big savings for a lot of cuteness! Enter code: BIGSALE. Sale ends Tuesday, November 29th at midnight CST. Stop by Power Poppy for full details.

And as if that isn’t enough — Marcella is offering a Mystery $1 Holiday Digi (hey! it’s so fabulous that I’d link to it, but that would spoil the fun). So be sure you stop by Power Poppy because these savings and that mystery digi are only available for a limited time!

Now that I’ve gotten through all of that let’s get to today’s card! I selected the new Succulent Wreath and Baubles stamp set and paired it with a sentiment from the Acorn Ornaments stamp set. I’ve been coloring a LOT of holiday cards recently and I gravitated towards this image because it allows me to pick non-traditional Christmas colors. I think that the jewel tones really set this card off.

Acorn Ornaments

Acorn Ornaments by Power Poppy

It’s time for another new digital release from Power Poppy. This time Marcella was inspired by her collection of glass acorn ornaments, so after a little rooting around in the harvest decorations she came up with this set of images and accompanying sentiments for your coloring pleasure!

My card is pretty simple this time. I’m getting ready for vacation so I have to temporarily put my Copics aside to get ready. So I put this card together quickly to show off a simple image on a simple card.
