HEY FRIENDS! It’s time for another edition of Nancy and Jill Color Together! As you know, Jill Killeen of Killeen House Studio asked me to participate in a monthly challenge with her where we would color the same image and see how we each interpreted it. This month was my turn to pick the image and I chose Girl with Flower by Lee Holland Art. If you want to play along, the digital image is available in the Lee Holland Art shop on Etsy. As always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

This is such a sweet image that I couldn’t resist. It’s been awhile since I colored something other than cute animals so I have to admit that this one took me a few tries. Coloring hair and skin is still a challenge for me and I just need to put in the time practicing to make it better. But I was pleased with the coloring of the dress — the pleats in particular — so there’s that!
As you can see, Jill chose a darker color scheme to match her design paper. This is an image that works either way. Check out Jill’s blog post for more information about her card.

That’s all from me today! Stay tuned — I have a bunch of cards and videos coming out in the next few days!
