It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, mainly because I’ve been trying to get organized. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by crafting supplies — paper, stamps, inks, markers. It all adds up quickly! So I’ve taken a step back just get things in order.
The nice thing about getting organized is that it forced me to look through all of the paper, stamps, and dies that I purchased over the past year (and haven’t used). That alone should stop me from buying anything new for while, but that’s a resolution that I’m not even going to pretend to make! But over the next few days, I’m going to post a few cards that I made from my stash so that some of these supplies will finally see the light of day.
Today’s is the first of two cards that feature stamps and die cuts – no Copics! I love to color, but sometimes I just want an easy card that goes together quickly, especially if I want to make multiple copies. Since I don’t really like to color the same image multiple times, using die cuts was my ready solution. For the sake of my sanity, I backed the red foil paper with iCraft adhesive sheets before running it through the die cutter. Then all of my embellishments were just peel and stick. Can’t get much easier than that!
Here’s a look at the inside of the card.
