Olive and Oak by Power Poppy

I first colored this image by Power Poppy when it was released as a digital stamp, but wanted to  give it another try with the extra sentiments and stamps in the expanded set. But frankly, I didn’t feel like coloring today, so I pulled out some embossing powders to see what I could do.

Some images just need the enhancement that coloring provides, but Marcella’s artwork has so much life and detail that it can take center stage all by itself. So a little heat embossing and a few layers of paper later, we’ve got a beautiful card to kick off the upcoming holiday season.
