Lavender is one of my favorite flowers (and fragrances!) so I knew that I had to color the Breathe in Life set as soon as I saw it. To start, I played with various combinations of blue, blue violet, violet and red violet before making my final selection of Copic colors. Although the flowers are pretty simple to color, I decided to add a variety of shades of green and yellow-green for the leaves. When I finished coloring the image, I thought that the background looked too plain so I used pointillism to create a soft backdrop in shades of green and blue-violet.
Afterwards, I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle and a few enamel dots just because I felt like it!
