HEY FRIENDS! I was on a roll yesterday in the studio so I have three cards to share with you featuring the Flower Shaker Shapes stamp set by Concord & 9th. The cards came together quickly because no coloring was involved – the images are easy to line up and stamped using dye ink. In less than an hour, I had a trio of cards ready to go.
I recently splurged on several sets of Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads by Simon Says Stamp. I have Distress Inks and Distress Oxides so I didn’t think that I would need to invest in another line of ink pads. However, I’ve never been satisfied with the results using either ink for stamping. So I tried the Pawsitively Saturated Inks and I’ve been really happy with the results. The inks initially stamp a little splotchy, but as they dry, the ink seems to level out and blend, resulting in a beautiful smooth finish which is really important when using solid stamps like the ones featured today. The stamps also cleaned up beautifully with little to no staining, at least with the colors I’ve used. Not that staining affects the integrity of the stamp, but I just like when the ink cleans completely off my stamps.
For me it was worth the investment, but you may have another brand that you prefer for stamping so don’t get discouraged if you don’t have the same inks (or the same dies for that matter!). Take a look at your stash and use the cards below for inspiration.
Just a Note
This is a project where a MISTI stamping tool (or something similar) is really a necessity to get the best results. Since these are solid stamps, you may need to stamp the images more than once to get the best coverage. If you haven’t already invested in a stamping tool, this project should make clear why you need one.
As always, I’ve linked the supplies that I used with compensated affiliate links where possible at no cost to you.

Card 2 – Up for a bit of a challenge? This Card is for you!

Step by Step Instructions for Card 2
- Cut card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock to 4.25″ x 11″ and score at 5.5″ for a top fold card.
- Cut a piece of blue cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ (I used a blue cardstock that didn’t photograph well – it really does match the ink!) Glue panel to cardbase. I use Beacon’s 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive. Set aside to create the stamped panel.
- Cut a piece of a piece of Hammermill cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″. Line up the Loopy Circles Border and the 4 Petal Flower Border dies from the Create a Slimline Border along the right edge as shown. Hold dies in place using a low tack tape such as Spellbinders Best Ever Craft Tape. Run through die cut machine. Remove dies and tape and punch out any remaining chads left in the die cuts.
- Place panel in your MISTI Stamping Tool and hold in place with the magnet.
- Stamp solid tulip using Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Grapefruit.
- Stamp leaves/steam using Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Marine.
- Stamp the stem and leaves using Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Limelicious.
- Stamp sentiment using Versafine Clair in Nocturne. Immediately cover with clear embossing powder and heat set the powder.
- Assembly layers as shown.
