CARD 1 – Snowman and Friends

To start, I stamped the snowman image from the Heartwarming stamp set on a piece of X-Press It cardstock using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. Next, I colored the image with Copic markers (see list). Using the A2 Layers die set, I trimmed the image panel as well as panels created from Lipstick Red cardstock and Desert Storm cardstock. I used the Joyful die to cut the sentiment from a scrap of Lipstick Red cardstock and a scrap of vellum for the sentiment. Finally, I adhered all of the layers to an A2 card base as shown to finish off the card.

Card 2 – Penguin

For my second card, I stamped the penguin image on a piece of X-Press It cardstock using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. As before, I colored the image with Copic markers (see list) and trimmed the panel using the A2 Layers die set. For something different, I decided to inset the sentiment so I used the A2 Layers die set to cut the sentiment directly into the image panel. I applied a piece of double sided adhesive to the back of the cutout and inlaid the sentiment which was cut from blue mirror cardstock. I added a 1/4″ strip of design paper along the bottom of the image panel. Next, I cut an piece of Gravel Gray cardstock to 4.25 inches x 5.5 inches. Finally, I adhered all of the layers to an A2 card base as shown to finish off the card.
SIZE: A2

That’s all for today!
