HEY FRIENDS! I’m over on the Power Poppy blog today for Inspire Me Monday with some examples for using all those small stamps in your stamp sets for a big impact. So hop on over to the Power Poppy blog to see the full blog post.
HEY FRIENDS! I’m back with another edition of Nancy and Jill Color Together! If you saw last month’s post, you know that Jill Killeen of Killeen House Studio asked me to participate in a monthly challenge with her where we would color the same image and see how we each interpreted it. This month, I selected Sledging Party by Lili of the Valley for our challenge. As always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
This image was a little more complicated than I expected. Once I started coloring, I realized that I had to sort out all the arm, legs, scarfs and mittens. So to keep things simple, I selected specific color combinations and used them throughout. This simplified the color scheme and provided continuity in the image.
A few similarities with mine – I suspect that we used some of the same combinations, although rumor has it that Jill used nearly 50 markers! Check her full blog post for all the details.

HEY FRIENDS! Today I’ve switched gears to make some holiday tags for gift packages. I recently purchased a new to me Penny Black stamp set called Jolly Follies — I have a soft spot for all of the Penny Black critter images — so I paired it with a few Avery Elle stamps from my stash as well as a large layer tag die also from Avery Elle. Since the Copic ink bleeds through the paper, I cut another tag from Neenah cardstock to glue to the back. For the third tag, I also stamped all the sentiments on the back since they were not used on the front.
That’s all for today!

HEY FRIENDS! In case you hadn’t guessed, the Santa Bunny stamp set by Colorado Craft Company is one of the my favorite images. I don’t usually color an image more than once, but I’ve used this one to make cards (1 and 2), a tag and even did a Copic coloring video featuring the image. So for something a little different, I pulled out my colored pencils and colored it one more time. HEY FRIENDS! Today I’m sharing another card featuring featuring stamps from the new Kris Lauren Christmas Bears release. This time I’m combining images from the Knitting Bear and Stocking Mini stamp sets to create a cozy fireside scene. As always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
And just a reminder that Colorado Craft Company is offering free domestic shipping (see 3C website for international orders) on November 7th and 8th.
On a scrap of Hammermill cardstock, I stamped the stocking from the Stocking Mini stamp set and colored the images with Copic markers. I cut out the images using the coordinating Stocking Mini Dies. I applied foam squares on the back (I had to cut them to fit) and adhered them in place on the front of the fireplace.
I used the Infinity Rectangle dies from Hero Arts to cut the background layers and assembled the layers as shown.

I just finished a new video showing how I colored the fireplace. Enjoy!
