Step By Step for Etched Greetings

  • Cut card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock to 4.25″ x 11″ and score at 5.5″ for a top fold card.
  • Die cut the background from a piece of white cardstock using the largest A2 Marquee Wafer Die. Adhere to card base and set aside.
  • Cut a piece of Hammermill cardstock to 3.5″ x 4.75″ and stamp the floral images from the Etched Greeting stamp set using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink.
  • Color the flowers with Copic markers (see list below).
  • Die cut the sentiment from the Happy Birthday die from black cardstock (I used Black Licorice by MFT Stamps). Cut the sentiment two more times as well as the shadow die from white cardstock. Glue the layers together using Connect Glue.
  • Cover the sentiment with Glossy Accents. Allow to dry thoroughly.
  • Assemble the layers as shown.

Step by Step Instructions

  • Cut card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock to 4.25″ x 11″ and score at 5.5″ for a top fold card.
  • Cut a piece of solid cardstock (I used Simon Says Stamp Fog Cardstock) to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and glue to the card base.
  • Die cut the background from a piece of white cardstock using the medium A2 Chunky Scalloped Rectangles. Ink blend the center as shown using Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar.
  • Stamp the image from the Anita Jeram Family Love stamp set on a piece of Hammermill cardstock using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. Color the imag as shown with Copic markers.
  • Use the Anita Jeram Family Love Coordinating Dies to cut the image. Apply foam adhesive squares to the back.
  • Stamp the sentiment as shown using Versafine Clair Ink in Nocturne.
  • Assemble layers as shown.

For some reason, I had trouble coloring bunnies the day I made this card. I haven’t been coloring much lately. More accurately, I haven’t been coloring consistently and with this card it showed. So I gave myself a break and cut off a few bunnies from the original image. Jill has been coloring nearly every day so she took on ALL the bunnies as you’ll see from her card below.
