Dazzling Daffodils by Penny Black

HEY FRIENDS! It’s almost spring! Really! Never mind that snow storm headed our way this weekend. The calendar says that it’s almost spring and I’m going with it. My husband can’t wait to work on the garden. Since we primarily plant annuals, we’ll have to wait a another month or so for it to be warm enough at night to safely plant, but in the meantime I can color a few dazzling daffodils! As always, I’ve linked the supplies below with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

Today’s project features:

I’ve got a Copic coloring video below so all the coloring details are there. I was aiming for a soft, watercolor look so I kept the colors to a minimum. Since we don’t have a white Copic marker, the trick is to color the contours and shadows, but you have to watch that you don’t end up with a blue daffodil!

That’s it for me today! See you again soon!

Flurries of Fun by Colorado Craft Company

HEY FRIENDS! I have lots of new stamps in my stash – of course, don’t we all! – so I’ve been sitting down and coloring so that I can stop feeling guilty about having a backlog. And since most of them are holiday stamps, now’s the time to be coloring!

So this post is short and to the point! New Copic coloring video below. And as always, I’ve linked the supplies below with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

Today’s project features:

  • Flurries of Fun by Colorado Craft Company
  • Teamwork by Colorado Craft Company (sentiment)
  • Copic coloring (see marker list below)
  • Additional supplies linked in thumbnails below.

I was trying to get a watercolor look from my markers. I used the Flurries of Fun stamp set from Colorado Craft Company and paired it with a sentiment from the Teamwork stamp set (also from CCC).

Have you noticed lately that Penny Black has been releasing rectangular die sets with a variety of unique edges? This one is the Semi-Circle Stackers set, which I love because it’s a step beyond the using stitched edge.

And here’s the promised video!

That’s all for today! Enjoy!

Demo Day and ANOTHER Copic Coloring Video

HEY FRIENDS! I was on a roll yesterday and created another Copic coloring video using the Holiday Happy stamp set by Stampendous! I don’t think I’ve ever created two videos on one day, but these images are quick and easy to color so you can work through them pretty fast.

Just an FYI – this card will also be available as a card kit for Demo Day at Photo Scraps.. So if you’re interested, mark your calendar for Saturday, November 20th and call Lisa or Tracy at 410-549-5187 if you want to purchase a card kit.

So here it is!

And just like the previous card, the card kit does not contain red cardstock to back the image. I used white cardstock and used my R46 Copic marker to colored a border top and bottom.

Enjoy!

Demo Day and New Coloring Video – Holiday Happy by Stampendous!

HEY FRIENDS! A few weeks ago, I created a card using the Holiday Happy stamp set by Stampendous! Well, I decided to create a variation of that card for the upcoming Demo Day at Photo Scraps. So if you’re interested, mark your calendar for Saturday, November 20th and call Lisa or Tracy at 410-549-5187 if you want to purchase a card kit.

In the meantime, I’ve uploaded a Copic coloring video for the image.

JUST A NOTE: The card kit does not contain red cardstock to back the image. I used white cardstock and used my R46 Copic marker to colored a border top and bottom. This way, I don’t have to keep a lot of colored cardstock on hand and the accents always match the image perfectly.

Enjoy!

Kittens & Mittens by Colorado Craft Company

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS! I’m back with another project – this time a slim line card – featuring the Kittens & Mittens stamp set by Colorado Craft Company. I don’t usually make slim line cards, but I had an idea in mind and the extra width was perfect for this layout. Living with a household of spoilt cats, I knew that I had to color this image! Plus I had some extra time this weekend, so I put together a Copic coloring video for this image.

As always, I’ve linked the supplies below with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
