January Art du Jour at the Queen’s Ink featuring RubberMoon Stamps

I spent last Tuesday at The Queen’s Ink participating in my first Art du Jour. This is an event offered each month where you come by the store, relax, and make a variety of cards, tags, and ATCs. I offered two cards featuring images and sentiments from RubberMoon Stamps. These images are so unique and fun, perfect for cards, art journaling, tags, and other projects. I love the simplicity of the images as well as the paired down font of the sentiments.

I thought my Art du Jour participants might be beginners to Copic coloring so I didn’t do a lot of detail coloring in the faces. Obviously, the quirky nature of these images lend them to more extensive shading around the eyes, but I opted to keep it simple.
