GOOD EVENING FRIENDS! I’m back today playing catch-up after the rush of the previews and release of the Enchanted Flower collection from Power Poppy. Hope you enjoyed all the cards that we put together for the preview and blog hop. I appreciate all the comments you left me. It means a lot when you take a few moments to leave a message.

So this is a big shift in gears – the past two months I’ve been teaching Copic classes at the Queen’s Ink featuring the Oddballs from Stamping Bella. I love the quirkiness of these stamps and they really take me out of the my floral comfort zone. So I just want to leave you today with some fun cards that we recently made in class at the Queen’s Ink.

New Class! Coloring with Copics – Royal Oddballs

Join me for a new Copic markers class featuring the Oddball Queens from Stamping Bella. In this class, you will make two cards with emphasis on Copic techniques for coloring skin. hair, and clothing. We will also spend some time creating mixed media backgrounds for the cards so be prepared to get your hands inky! Details are below. All necessary techniques are taught in class. It’s been brought to my attention (thanks Jill) that my teaching schedule has the wrong date for the Oddball class at Queen’s Ink. The correct date is TOMORROW, 5/28 (not Thursday). The class announcement both here and at The Queen’s Ink has the correct date. My teaching schedule has been corrected.

That’s what happens when I try to do things from memory!

Wrapping Up Tuesday’s Class and Hitting the Road!

Just finished another class on Tuesday at The Queen’s Ink where we colored up some fun images from House Mouse Designs (Stampendous!). Had a great group in class and I think everyone had fun and learned something new. Next class at the Queen’s Ink will be on Tuesday, April 30th where we’ll be experimenting with faux watercoloring with alcohol inks. You can either register online or call the store at (301) 497-9449.

Tonight, we’re hitting the road, having made a somewhat last minute decision to spend Friday at the Allentown Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival. This will be my first time attending so I’m excited to see all the vendors and new products. My husband — the good sport that he is — will be coming along as well, although I don’t know if he’ll last all day. Hope to see you there and be sure to stop by Photo Scraps’ booth and say hello to Tracy. Tell her Nancy sent you!
