I love Anita Jeram’s depiction of hamsters, rabbits and mice as artists and have several in my stash including Love Art, Inspiration Hampster, Paint the Town, and The Artist. They make the perfect card for the artist or crafter in your life. I used the Art Is stamp set to create a framed piece as a gift for my brother who is a painter. The simplicity of The Muse is a wonderful addition to this theme.

Santa’s Helpers | Simon Says Stamp

HEY FRIENDS! I’m slowly working through my stash of stamps and I came across the Santa’s Helpers stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. I’m usually a one and done kind of crafter — I use a stamp once and I rarely go back and use it again. This mindset has advantages because I don’t get so attached to my stamps that I can’t destash as needed. But it does get expensive to use a stamp set just once and then set it aside indefinitely. So I decided to try to use as many of the images and sentiments from this stamp set and came up with three cards which I have to show you today. Snow Cool | Anthony’s Paper Craft

HEY FRIENDS! I stopped by the Stamp Scrap Art Tour show in Westminster this past Sunday and roamed around the various vendor booths. It was nice to get out and talk with representatives of the various companies, especially have these past few years when such events were suspended out of necessity. I have a thing for snowmen so when I saw the Snow Cool stamp set by Anthony’s Paper Craft I knew that I had to color this image. Since the snowmen are marching in such a strong diagonal, I decided to make it a design element for the card. I stamped the image on Hammermill cardstock, stamped the image with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers (see list below). I cut the image panel on the diagnonal and backed it with design papers from my stash. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Feeling of Christmas stamp set by Penny Black in the lower right corner using Versafine Clair in Nocturne. I covered the ink with clear embossing powder and heat set it so that the sentiment would stand out against the pattern paper.
