GOOD MORNING FRIENDS! Yep – it’s true! Today’s card is a holiday card. It was snowing when I created this so I thought – why not? I’ve been tempted to make holiday cards ever since I straightened up last week and came across all of the holiday stamps that I bought and never got around to coloring. Not to mention, all of the holiday favorites that I didn’t make this past year. So I put aside my spring flower stamps and pulled out an oldie but goodie – Jingle all the Way by My Favorite Things.

This Santa is one of my favorite holiday images so I’ve put together a short video to show how I color it.

Step by Step Directions for Jingle All the Way

• Cut card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock to 4.25″ x 11″ and score at 5.5″ for a top fold card.
• Select a sheet of pattern paper from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad and trim to 4.25 x 5.5″. Adhere to card base with a strong craft glue (I use Beacon’s 3 in 1 Adhesive).
• For the card front, die cut a piece of white cardstock (I used Neenah 80# Solar White) using the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Set by MFT Stamps. Stamp sentiments from the Avery Elle Merry Merry set using Versafine Clare in Nocture.
• Stencil pattern between the sentiments using the Petite Snow stencil from Newton’s Nook and Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink. Cover with clear embossing powder and heat set.
• Apply craft foam to back of card front with a strong craft glue (I use Beacon’s 3 in 1 Adhesive). Glue card front to card base.
• Stamp Santa image on a Copic friendly paper with a Copic compatible ink (here I used Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover 100# Cardstock with Nuvo Hybrid Ink in Shadow Black).
• Color image with Copic markers as shown in video.
• Either fussy cut or die cut the image. I used the coordinating dies from MFT Stamps.
• Apply foam squares to back of colored image to add dimension.
• Arrange on card elements on card front as shown. Add sequins if desired.
