I’ve had this paper by Graphic 45 for awhile and it’s been sitting in my stash waiting for just the right project. So when the House Mouse Monday Challenge (HMFMC192) came along with the theme “April Showers” it seemed like the right time and the right card to put this paper to good use.

Feeling inspired by the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge (theme: Birthdays) so I put this card together. It’s my first attempt at a joy fold card and while it wasn’t difficult, I did have to do some adjusting to get the proportions and layers that I wanted. Enjoy!

The inspiration for this card was the theme of the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge “Spring is in the Air.” But with another 6-8 inches of snow expected this evening, I’m ready to bypass spring and moved on to summer.
