Do What Makes You Happy!

This image by Mo’s Digital Pencil always makes me smile. It’s fun to color and the end result is always cheery. I needed some multi-purposed cards (thank you, thinking of you, just because, etc.) so I left the card blank on the inside to allow for a personalized message to fit the occasion.

Love Wins

In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling and at the request of a friend, I recently created this card. The image is Grooms’ Shoes by Mo’s Digital Pencil.

Love wins.

Baby Welcome to the World!

I was asked by a friend to design a card for an upcoming baby shower. Since the parents don’t know yet if it will be a boy or girl, I needed to make a card that was gender neutral. At first, I tried avoiding the use of either blue or pink, but decided in the end to use a equal amounts of both on a neutral background. I made two versions of the card: a traditional fold card with an inside sentiment and an easel card with a space for a personalized message.

Portfolio: Little Elf Finn

Following up on my last post, here is another card topper on my work table. This time it’s Little Elf Finn from Mo’s Digital Pencil. Again, the ornament was colored following the instructions in the tutorial by Debbie Olson, but this time the color selection is my own. Stashing this one in my portfolio as well to use on a card later in the year.

Portfolio: Little Elf Mim

Just some late night coloring using a digital image from Mo’s Digital Pencil. I followed a tutorial by Debbie Olson which was perfect for creating a 3D effect for the Christmas ornament. I’ll eventually turn this into a card, but for now, it’s tucked in my portfolio.
