See What You Missed! Cool, Calm and Colorful at The Queen’s Ink

We had another great Copic class last Tuesday at The Queen’s Ink. As usual, everyone packed their good cheer and enthusiasm along with their markers so a good time was had by all. It was also Ramsey’s birthday (happy birthday Ramsey!) so we started the afternoon class with a rousing rendition of happy birthday to get the class rolling.

My next class at The Queen’s Ink will be on Tuesday, May 1st. I haven’t yet decided on the images, but will do so in the next few days so keep an eye here for the next class announcement. If you subscribe to my blog, you will automatically get an email every time I add a new post, so you can stay in the know about new classes, new stamp releases, special events, and other projects as they happen.

Don’t forget – Tuesday is Art du Jour at The Queen’s Ink. I’ll have two simple, but cute (if I may say so myself!) cards featuring images from Dylusions. Kate and Kim will each have two new projects as well so stop by any time between 10:30 and 4:30.

Below are the supplies I’ve used for Tuesday’s class projects. Items marked with an asterisk (*) were provided by a store or the manufacturer for free or at a discount. All other items were personally purchased. Read more.

Bird Crazy by Tim Holtz, Art du Jour, and April Online Class Registration now open!

This past Tuesday was Art du Jour at The Queen’s Ink and we sold out of cards within a few hours! I had to scramble to make a few extra kits so that everyone who wanted a card could make one. This is only my third month participating in Art du Jour and I never know what to expect, but it was a delight seeing so many come out to join in on the fun despite the threat of bad weather.

I had two cards available and I am listing the supplies below. If you didn’t get a chance to come out, you can still make these cards on your own. Stamps, paper and other supplies are available at The Queen’s Ink (and remember – Patti can order for you if something you want is not in stock).

The next Art du Jour is on Tuesday, April 10th. You can drop by between 10:30 and 4:30 and craft to your heart’s content! At $3.00 per project, you can quickly build up a stash of cards, tags, etc. for any occasion.

Don’t forget – my next Copic card class at The Queen’s Ink is on Tuesday, April 3rd. Online registration is now available! You need to bring your own markers to class, so be sure you check out the class description so you will have the necessary supplies.

And with no further ado – here’s the supply list from the March Art du Jour cards.

Below are the supplies I’ve used for today’s project. Items marked with an asterisk (*) were provided by a store or the manufacturer for free or at a discount. All other items were personally purchased. Read more.
