HEY FRIENDS! We’re leaving shortly to take a friend to the airport for her overseas flight home so this post is going to be short! Today I’m featuring my last card for the recent Anita Jeram release by Colorado Craft Company. This one is called But First Presents, consisting of six images and four sentiments. As always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

HEY FRIENDS! Just a quick post today. Lots of Christmas things going on — shopping, decorating, organizing — so I’m squeezing in crafting time when I can. But I would be remiss if I didn’t show you this project featuring the new Anita Jeram Candy Cane Mice, part of the new release from Colorado Craft Company. And as always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

HEY FRIENDS! It’s time for another Anita Jeram release from Colorado Craft Company. We have bunnies and kittens and mice (OH MY!) as well as two giveaways and a blog hop so be sure to read all the way to the end for all the details. And as always, I’ve linked supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
TODAY’S PROJECT
I have three cards for you today, all created using the Anita Jeram Dear Santa stamp set. The set includes clear photopolymer stamps with a dog, a bunny and a mouse writing and mailing letters to Santa in a snow-covered mailbox. The stamps can be used with the coordinating Dear Santa complete dies set (AJ733-D) and the Dear Santa single die set (AJ745-D) both sold separately. This stamp set includes 7 images and 5 sentiments.
Once I got started, I was quickly on a roll making cards. Coordinating dies are also available for this stamp set, although I didn’t use them here.
Giveaway 1: The designers will be giving away a stamp set from this release (your choice) to a lucky winner that drawn from all the comments left on our social media hangouts.

HEY FRIENDS! In case you hadn’t guessed, the Santa Bunny stamp set by Colorado Craft Company is one of the my favorite images. I don’t usually color an image more than once, but I’ve used this one to make cards (1 and 2), a tag and even did a Copic coloring video featuring the image. So for something a little different, I pulled out my colored pencils and colored it one more time. HEY FRIENDS! I’m a little late posting today – a new washer and dryer is being delivered here today which is exciting news for us. Trying to find an in-stock washer and dryer in the midst of ongoing supply chain issues that would fit in a cramp space was beginning to feel like an exercise in futility. But on Thursday, I managed to track down the last set in the metropolitan area of the model we wanted and it’s being delivered today. So we’ve had to double check all the measurements — even fractions of an inch makes a difference between fitting and not fitting — and make sure everything is ready for delivery.
BUT FIRST, here’s some housekeeping of a different sort!

Additional supplies listed in the thumbnails below.
For the background, I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock (my preferred paper for ink blending) to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and masked off 1″ on each side using strips cut from Masking Magic. Then I masked along the bottom of the exposed area to create a 1″ gap where I ink blended Distress Ink in Black Soot. Next, I removed the bottom mask and realigned it to cover the Black Soot and ink blended the remainder of the center with Distress Ink in Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade and Wilted Violet. I created the clouds using the Cloud Stencil from My Favorite Things blended with Black Soot.
Finally, I removed the mask covering the bottom Black Soot blending and stamped the images using Hero Arts Intense Black ink. Then I removed all the masks and started coloring. Since I used Distress Ink (as opposed to Distress Oxide) I can color with my Copics directly over the dye ink. Marker list provided below.
